Nice video for Passenger side blend door actuator not DRIVERS side actuator.

I WAS having the same issue. Hot driver side cold passenger side. But! Now it will only blow air in defrost mode? Is it the same actuator? Or another issue?

I've chocked it up to piston slap. Which GM insists isn't a problem.

I have the same issue with my 2013 buick enclave. I search for it but it only gives me the actual handle that opens the door. I evwn search for it as an armrest but nope.

I had the same noise on my 14 sierra. Pulled the pins, they looked good but cleaned them up and greased them. Noise went away!

Not their best design. So the clips broke? I'd like to avoid that. Thinking there might be a way to get some WD in there prior for the lids that refuse to open 'til it can be properly serviced.

I have a 2014 Silverado 5.3. It tows a 14 by 7 dump trailer. I think I already need to replace the transmission. There is an occasional metal slippage sound that I believe is the torque converter, but I really have no idea (just a feeling I guess). I love these trucks and I think they are awesome. I would like to upgrade the transmission actually with a new one, I think. What service manual do you recommend? Thanks!

I had to buy a new battery for my John Deere mower because the old one tested bad and was 5 years old. After connecting the new battery, I put a new one of these tenders on it. It immediately went to "solid red". Should the new battery really need charging? I use the battery cable claps to connect it. Thanks

Dustin, I just found your channel after I serviced the powertrain on my 2017 Silverado. I wasn’t looking up videos on how to do it, so once again I’m suspicious that our phones are watching us! I pieced together a full craftsman set for my daughter on eBay last year. I bought half inch drive sockets, both deep and regular for $35 and $20 respectively. I also bought some brand new screwdrivers and nut drivers. I do the same as you for my daughter and sons’ tool boxes. I also use the Scotch Brite pads for all metal cleaning. You can also use your bench grinder and polish up the tools as well.

I know the 2014 Silverado has a 6l80 Manual Valve Body Transmission. I own one. I believe the 2015 is the same way.. 2016 and up went to back to the electric. Unless they had both the 6l80 and the 6l80E options for the 2014-15.

Watching this on 2X was still too slow. Why are you gonna drive out somewhere that doesn't have cell service to film a video that requires cell service!? And then post the video... Haha why
